Real Nutrition Solutions.
Who We Are
Axis Clinical Nutrition was founded on a simple but urgent observation: patients managing complex health conditions deserve more than generalized nutrition advice. They deserve care that is as specific, informed, and individualized as the conditions they are living with.
Axis was built to improve access to care, with the mission to improve health outcomes through individualized, evidence-based nutrition therapy — meeting every patient where they are and supporting them every step of the way.
We combine the clinical expertise of acute care nutrition interventions with the personalized attention of a dedicated outpatient setting — giving every patient access to the level of care their condition truly requires.
We are just getting started, but the need we are addressing is not new. It is one we have seen firsthand, and one we are committed to solving — one patient at a time.
Meet the Founder
Kasie Rawson MS, RDN, LDN Founder & Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Kasie began her career in Austin, Texas, providing inpatient nutrition care for patients with cancer, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, and other chronic conditions. She continued to hone her practice in adult outpatient care, specializing in complex GI disorders and nutrition support — including enteral nutrition and total parenteral nutrition.
Working across both acute care and outpatient settings gave her a firsthand understanding of the nutritional complexities that accompany serious illness — and a clear conviction: that patients managing complex conditions deserve nutrition care that is as thorough, individualized, and clinically informed as the rest of their medical treatment.
That conviction led to the founding of Axis Clinical Nutrition.
Kasie takes a collaborative, evidence-based approach to every patient interaction, working closely with physicians and care teams to ensure nutrition therapy is integrated into each patient's broader treatment plan. Her areas of interest include gastrointestinal and endocrine disorders, oncology, eating disorders, metabolic adaptation, and integrative medical nutrition therapy including care for mast cell activation syndrome and disorders of gut-brain-interaction.
We treat the whole person, not just the diagnosis. Before any plan is implemented, we review your full medical history, laboratory values, medications, and dietary patterns — then go deeper into your lifestyle, preferences, and goals. Clinical precision and practical sustainability go hand in hand in everything we do.
Your health is always changing, and your nutrition support should change with it. We revisit and refine your plan regularly, responding to shifts in your clinical status and lived experience.
We understand great nutrition care doesn't happen in isolation. We work closely with your whole healthcare team, to ensure your nutrition therapy is fully integrated into your broader treatment plan.
Our goal at every step is the same: care that is clinically rigorous, personally attentive, and built to support your long-term health.
